Popular Disney Princesses

The Disney Princess franchise has taken the retail world by storm. In a relatively short time (1999), the introduction of the Princess' line has helped boost retail sales at the entertainment company into the billions.

In the order they were introduced by Disney, here are the total number of Princesses offered by the company at this time: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana and Rapunzel.

They have become so popular, when the company recently (October 2011) offered a sale on the dolls themselves, their website crashed, as it wouldn't allow that many transactions to take place at one time. This was for the Disney Princess Designer Doll collection.

One amazing thing about the popularity of the Disney Princess product line is it took off with little marketing and input from potential consumers.

Disney has created a seemingly innumerable number of products for the insatiable fans and customers of the Princesses, including the obligatory castle, which all Princesses need, sa well as numerous accessories.

There are songs you can download, and even a Princess toddler line.

You can acquire acquire a play tent for you daughters or granddaughters to play in.

As for specific Disney Princess characters, you can acquire, not only the dolls themselves, but a plethora of related items to each individual princess. Very cool!

For just about every type of item you can think of there is a related Disney Princess connected to it.

For example, you can get games, laptops, blankets, keyboards and learning toys. And this is just a tiny sampling of the possibilities for the little girls in your life. You get the idea.

One particular thing I was impressed with, was you not only could get a general castle for your Disney Princess, but also individual castles related to her story and person.

As for spending time with the little girls in our lives, it's great to see interactive games and items which can be enjoyed by adults and children together in the line.

A Chutes and Ladders Disney Princess game, along with a memory game were interesting to me., although there were a lot more choices for those interested in other interactive toys.

Toys, games and accessories are a great way to empower a child to be creative and get involved with a story via their favorite characters like Disney Princesses.

There is no doubt she will be the top Disney Princess as she role plays with some of her imaginary princesses surrounding her in her imagination, as well as those represented by the dolls and other items related to the story. That's the great fun and attraction of these wildly popular and compelling Disney characters.
